Katya is a Solicitor in the Company Commercial team. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions; business start-ups and drafting documentation, such as partnership agreements, shareholders’ agreements, LLP agreements and confidentiality agreements. She also advises on all aspects of company law and corporate governance.

Career
Katya was admitted as a solicitor in 2007. She trained and qualified with a Top 100 medium size regional commercial firm in the South East, before practicing in the corporate commercial team of their London office, where she dealt with a variety of SME clients from different sectors. Experience to date includes advising clients on either side of transactions in both business asset sales and company share sales, private company incorporations and LLP start-ups. She has also advised on a wide variety of commercial contract matters and has been involved with advising companies looking to set up direct selling businesses in the UK. Katya currently mentors law students from the Guildford College of Law.

In her spare time Katya enjoys outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and jogging in an effort to stave off the effects of her other pleasure…cooking.
