Katya trained with and qualified into a medium size regional commercial firm in the South East. On admission to the Roll of Solicitors in 2007 she qualified into the Corporate Commercial team of that firm’s London office where she dealt with a variety of SME clients from different sectors. Experience to date includes advising clients on either side of transactions of both business assets and company shares, private company incorporations and LLP start-ups. She has also advised on commercial contract matters, and has been involved with advising companies looking to set up direct selling businesses in the UK.
A recent addition to the Corporate Commercial team at Morgan Russell, Katya specialises in such matters as mergers and acquisitions; business start-ups and drafting documentation such as partnership agreements, shareholders’ agreements, LLP agreements and confidentiality agreements. In addition to this, she also advises on all aspects of company law and corporate governance.
Katya is a member of the Law Society and mentors law students from Guildford College of Law.
In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and jogging, in an effort to stave off the effects of her other pleasure: cooking.
